Who is this retreat designed for?
The retreat is designed for young Muslim sisters aged over 18 years old who would like to connect and bond with other Muslim sisters in a safe space, where they can empower, grow and learn from one another.
What will we be doing at this retreat?
We’ll be doing workshops, halaqahs (Islamic circle discussions) and fun activities that explore the themes of self-reflection, vulnerability and sisterhood.
Where is the retreat being held?
The retreat will mostly be held on site at PGL Campaspe Downs in Kyneton, but we will be travelling out to surrounding areas of the region for some of our activities.
What will the costs of the retreat cover?
The costs of the retreat will cover accommodation (with bedding included), food, transport, activities and workshops.
How do I get to the retreat site?
You will either have the option of travelling to the site on your own (or carpool with others), or you can take the bus that Podium will be providing (included in the cost of your ticket).
How is the accommodation situation at the retreat site?
You will be sleeping in bunk beds with bedding provided. You will be sharing a space with at least 4 other people, with access to an en-suite bathroom and toilet.
Can I bunk in with my friends at the accommodation?
While we cannot promise that you’ll be sleeping with your friends, we will try our best to accommodate your request. Please indicate which friends you will be coming with to the retreat when you fill in the form.
How old do I need to be to attend the retreat?
You will need to be over 18 years old to attend the retreat.
Why do I need to provide details about my medical condition and emergency contact?
To ensure that you have the best time at the retreat, we require information about your medical condition and emergency contact to plan and support your health care needs should a medical situation or incident arises.
Can I bring my children?
Unfortunately, we will not have the services at the site to manage children, so children will not be able to attend.
I am from interstate, can I still attend?
Of course! We welcome participants from across Australia. As long as you are able to get to the campsite or bus pickup location, we would love to see you there.
Am I able to attend only part of this retreat?
As this is a short weekend retreat, attendees must attend the entire program. Part time attendees will not be able to attend.

Congratulations for purchasing a ticket! We’ll add you to a WhatsApp group chat where you’ll receive timely updates about the retreat. Two weeks before the retreat, we will circulate the itinerary, along with other important information.
